How do I get the song titles to appears on my ipod

they just come up as track 1,2 etc, my sister said the titles always appear for her what am I doing wrong?

Not got an ipod but I'll do my best.

With the software you have you ought to be able to add the track info yourself but with my Creative software(and with all other media players i.e. Windows media Player, Real One etc) when I'm online and I insert a disc the track info appears within seconds.

When you convert your CD to mp3 to go onto the iPod you need to be attached to the internet as iTunes uses an online database (CDDB I think) to match the the CD to its list and then put the names (known as IDv tags) onto each track as it converts them.
If you aren't connected to the internet when importing CDs, no track names will come up. If you already have the Mp3s on your computer, it is likely that the ID3 tags (what the ipod reads) are messed up. Here is a free mp3 editor for easy use: http://massid3lib.sourceforge.net/
