Getting a refund through PayPal
7 Answers
Last month I placed an order from a company and decided to pay through PayPal. They have now informed me that the items I ordered cannot be guaranteed for Christmas delivery, so I've decided I want to cancel my order and ask for a refund. Am I right in thinking that, as I paid with PayPal, the refund will therefore be credited back onto my PayPal account? And if so, is it then possible to move that money back into my own bank account?
I have looked on PayPal's website and their help section isn't very helpful. If anyone has done this in the past can you help?
Thanks

It takes time, as I and several other people pointed out on another thread in the past few days. Once back in the paypal account, and they will email to say you have got funds, then you can withdraw it back to your bank account (if you funded the transaction from a bank account).
I once had a very very good outcome with paypal. Everything had gone horribly wrong when I agreed to sell something outside ebay. They didnt have to do anything as I had broken quite a few conditions but they came up trumps and refunded me all the money. I am not going to go into details, but I am now very pro paypal as you can imagine.
