On Friday I opened a non paid item thing on ebay and today the buyer finally paid. He had forgotten about the auction! ANyway he paid with paypal, but the resolution centre still says it is an unpaid item dispute. The only option is to close the dispute, but i read that this will give a strike against the buyer which i dont want to do as it a was a genuine mistake. Do i just leave it and ebay will update it or do i need to do something? Thanks.

Get in touch with eBay and ask them what they recommend - I have closed a dispute in the past with the reason "buyer now paid" and it's not caused any problems to the buyer.
It expires on eBay and they will close it .. probably without further ado.
