When running, or using gym equipment like crosstrainers, is it better to go at a steady pace for a long time, or to work in sprints and tire out quicker? I have a crosstrainer which at a steady pace i can go for over an hour on without stopping, yet if I work sprints into that i'm ready to drop after 20 minutes or so. Need to drop some weight but also looking to add endurance. Thanks!
For what you want the long and steady will burn more fat, but not as much as you think. You need to look at your diet and reduce the fat intake slowly.
