Hi, ever since we in the London area went digital at the beginning of last month, I've had to re-tune my Freeview box each time I turn on the set. It now will only automatically get BBC1 and 2. Everything else - "No signal". Is this an implication that the box has had it or will it settle down eventually?

How old is the box, is it a digi' box?
are you using indoor or outdoor aerial because if its indoors it needs moving until you get a decent signal. weve been digital for ages now and had to move ours until it picked up signals for all the freeview channels

Thank you all for the interest. The box is about six years old, I guess. I'm using an aerial on the roof that was only installed a couple of years ago.

I'll give your suggestion a go fender. I can sort of see why it might work.

Thanks a lot.
I would have thought it's more likely to be an aerial problem than a box problem.
Have you got another aerial socket anywhere in the house? If so, you could try connecting your STB and TV to this. It is possible that there is a bad connection somewhere on your aerial lead. I had just the problem you describe and found that the core wire of the aerial had broken just where it was connected to the wall socket. Easily cured by shortening the co-ax by about an inch and connecting up again.
Sounds to be as if the box has had it.

Have you gat access to another one or a freeview TV, to test out the aerial?
