I have received some wedding photographes of my grandson's wedding in Sweden. At the end it asks for comments. I did this yesterday and a message has been put in front of my comments which say's Your comment is awaiting moderation }. It is still there today and has not been included with other comments. Can someone please tell me what this means.

I'd guess you didn't receive the photos, you received a link to view the photos on a webpage.

In which case your comments are waiting to be approved by whomever set the site up that is displaying the comments.

Somebody on the website that you have put the comment on has to approve it for publication.

This is to prevent rude or nasty things being put on the site.

It means somebody needs to check your comments before making them public.

This is normally done by the site owner or administrator, but if they are busy it may take a while.

Unfortunately the internet is full of people who wish to post nasty or rude comments, or perhaps post adverts, so many sites check ALL comments before making them public.

If you use Answerbank early in the morning you will often find adverts have been posted overnight as "questions". These can then be reported (using the report button) and the site owners can then delete them.

thank you so much to those who answered my question on computer pictures. I lost sleep last night thinking that I had done something wrong and that others would not be able to send comments.
