How much gas ill the Olympic Cauldron use?

Been trying to find this out but all I've come up with is how much less steel it's used and how it can be turned down to save fuel.

I have sent a message to a contact of mine at EDF and lets see what he comes back with, jake. My guess, having been in the business, is <200m3 at max - and given the petal design and some clever regulators, they can let it simmer around 40m3.
They have a CO2 offset programme in place - biogas was looked at but would have been too expensive as to design, the consumption far higher and with the corresponding CO2 issues.
