I have a UPVC door that is going a yellowish colour. The upvc surrounding is fine, it just seems to be the door that is beginning to have show a yellowish tinge. Is there a specific cleaner that can remove this?. I tried a upvc cleaner at the weekend and it didn't remove the yellowness. Would bleach work? or does this harm the upvc?

I don't know how long it has been like this as I have just moved into this property.

Any advice would be welcome.

I dont know what you could try to clean it as the upvc might be yellowing all the way through but i did see in B&Q white paint for upvc doors and windows so if you can't get it white by cleaning then you could try this paint.Good Luck

As above but it seems that you may have an inferior UPVC that has reacted to light if you decided to replace make sure that you look at the virgin polymers that reputable (if any) have available
i used a product called Upvc restorer when i moved into my house, it was just under a fiver and i bought it from Buildbase builders merchants
There was a problem with plastics in that the colour would fade becasue of an inferior 'stabiliser'.  If this is the case, I'm sorry but the plastic cannot be restored to its original colour.
