Not sure if this is the right section for this question, sorry if not! Basically my o2 sim only phone contract got cut off because I didn't have the money to pay the ridiculous phone bill i got through! However im now in the process of paying it off. Once i've paid it off will o2 let me take out a contract again or have I ruined my chances?!

The bill is usually £200+ and she regularly gets cut off for not paying on time. When she has the money, she rings up and pays the bill and then gets re-connected, so I wouldn' think O2 would be any different. I can't see you having to start a new contract, unless that's what you want. My friend just gets re-connected on her existing number/contract.
They sent me a letter saying I could get re-connected if I paid the amount I owed in full by a certain date however I was out of work for a few weeks and just couldn't pay it so the contract has been completely cancelled now. So I suppose this has damaged my credit rating which is why I was unsure if they'd allow me to take out a new one even if i re-payed the old one...
I'm currently on pay as you go but prefer contract. I am perfectly able to pay a contract however around the time I got the bill I was out of work as only had a temporary job. I have just started a permanent job last week so do not foresee any future problems with paying my bill if i returned to a contract
