Escalators 4, 5 and 6 at Angel station on the Northern Line have a vertical rise of 27.39m (89 10). They are supposedly the longest escalators in Western Europe.
The longest escalator is at the new Angel staion on the city branch of the Northern Line. The deepest station is Hampstead at 192ft below ground level.See the link here for more interesting facts

Whoops, forgot the second part of your question.

The deepest tube station is Hampstead on the Northern Line at 58.5m (192) below ground level. The lifts here have the largest vertical rise on the system at 55.2m (181'3").
The deepest part of the underground is where the Northern Line runs below Hampstead Heath, the rise of the Heath above making the rails over 67m (220) below the surface.

The lowest point on the system is just south of Waterloo station on the Northern, where the tracks are 21.3m (70) below sea level.

Not disputing the previous answers for a moment, but having once had an attack of bravado/stupidity and thought "Queue for the lifts? Pah! I'll use the stairs to get out of here", I can vouch for the fact that Covent Garden is also pretty damn deep.

Ow.
