Hiding information on Facebook

I have my Facebook set to private, but just wanted to know if you can hide certain parts of your information from someone who is a friend.

if you play with the settings, you can set things to only be visible to you, all, friend ors customise. i fyou choose customise you can select who see's what

Go to your home page
click the ABOUT tag on the left of your screen under your profile pic -you will get a page up showing work education basic info etc.
Choose which category you don't want a certain person to see ie basic info
click edit and choose which bit you don't want that person to see-ie religion
there will be a logo to the right of the info -probably two people -this shows all friends can see this particular bit of info -click it and the drop down menu will give you choices -choose custom then choose 'hide this from' -and click the name of the person you want to hide the info from.
