Is this safe? It keeps popping up but after the questions it keeps getting me to select a choice of prizes, looks dodgy to me. thanks

I don't get it and don't fancy clicking on it. Maybe you need to run Malwarebytes or something similar or at least clear your browser cache
I haven't seen that one before.
It's yet another by product of the ads. Ignore it.
What do you mean by popping up ? New window ? Never had that. I'd suspect a PC infection.
Question Author
it's a new window/tab that only comes up when I go into answerbank.
God you've only been here 2 days and you're wrecking the place :-)
mmmmmmm redgrant as you are new, i would delete your id and try registering again, see if that pop up still appears, i have never heard of such a thing and maybe it is following you around
Don't be silly dotty.............he can't delete his id.
why not?
Because you can't, only the Ed can delete ids.............
in our profiles where is says 'deactivate account' , pretty much the same thing.
I don't know if that would allow him to register again using the same email addy................
lol i'm sure they can conjure up a new one
Question Author
it's not a popup it's a whole new tab, it sort of looks feasable.
it isn;t a part of ab i don;t think, you've only been here 3 days, what brought you here and did you bring this thing with you?
Question Author
I don't think so, I only see it when I go to AB, and it's pretty harmless, I can just close it so it's not the usual malware. if it was on my PC already then I would see it on other things. I also have Norton etc and I use Firefox, had no problems up to now. Perhaps it is in answerbank itself.
Its a bug and I'm pretty sure its on you PC or device. Try googling globalvisitors survey and you find people asking the same quesiton as you. Run a malware now.

Seems to affect ipads and firefox users most.

Either way, please don't click on the link folks.
Yes it's fake. You can put anything in there to get a survey. Here's one (apparantlly from the BBC)

Why don't you ask the Editor?
