I am a silver surfer and not very good with computers though I do try .....
all of a sudden I cannot type a reply in Facebook to anyone it just wont let me type, I have an HP laptop, everywhere else is fine.
Any advice pls ?

are you actually clicking on to text box before trying to type ?

Try switching browsers. I can't use FB on Chrome for some reason.

Sometimes Facebook throws a wobbler and you have to clear your cache/cookies etc. to get it to work properly again.

thanks guys, I tried going to Facebook and signing in and I can type from there no problem but if I try and answer via my e mail I cannot type.
Such is life for us oldies !
