how do u get the symbol for square root and square as in a to the power of 2 (in maths)?

Also, you can make figures superscript so you can show x to the power of y by pressing control, shift and the += key together - this works when you're using Word, although I don't know if the same applies when you're using AnswerBank. I would guess not.
