Lottery Odds

If the chances of winning the Lottery are 14 million to 1, does that mean that if I bought two tickets, the odds are 14 million to 2 (i.e. 7 million to 1)?

landie - I think we may have confused each others stance on the subject, since we appear to agree on the mechanics of the game but not on its terminology.

It was I who first made the point on this thread that there could be no winners (which is a lotto) as opposed to a lottery which picks one of the tickets sold as the winner (similar to a raffle).

I hope this clears up the misunderstanding. Nos da.
