My daughter has just bought a second hand Bosch Fridge freezer. The light isn't working so I removed the bulb and I'm looking for a replacement. As far as I can see the bulb has written on it Wello D09P 15w 240v.
I believe, from looking of t'internet, that these are known as Pygmy bulbs. I can't for the life of me find the 'D09P' type though. I guess it's been renamed as the appliance is probably a good number of years old.
I just want to make sure I get the right bulb so if I get any SES pygmy 15w bulb, will it be suitable? Is it an E14 fitting or something else I need?
Hi Baldric, well it certainly looks the same. Not sure if it's the exact one I need as apparently with the screw in fitting there's E14 and E27. Confused.com. Though I'm probably being extremely dim :)
What is the difference between E14 and e27 light bulbs?
A: It's the fitting that's different so you have to make sure the lamp that it is going into has the proper receptacle for the fitting.
Try taking the bulb to B&Q or similar they do fridge bulbs and you could check to see if they look the same. That's where I bought mine from when it blew.
