hi, am trying to cut my bills. I would like to change electricity suppliers, but have a debit of £100 with them - is it possible to switch and just carry on paying off the first company (although i wont be getting my leccy from them)? or will i have to pay the £100 in one go?

In my experience you will be expected to settle up on the old account before the changeover is finalised.
