Wheel of the mouse turning and turning and not "gripping the page" resulting in mine using side bar to move up anddown - -can I open the mouse and work with it - or will buy a new one -I do know they are cheap but at the mo it is a bit of inconvenience. TIa

done all chrisgel - wheel not spining - will pick one up tomorow. tIA - has fallen a numerous times so am not surpirses.

you can also scroll using these keys:-

up / down - a few lines at a time

page up / page down - a screenful per press

home / end - take you to top / bottom of a page

There is a block of arrows at bottom right on keyboard.

Just hold a finger on anyone to move in the direction indicated.

Hi Conne, if your mouse has a ball it might just need cleaning. Open up the bottom of said mouse and gently remove debris with tweezers. I had a ball and it kept clogging up .

If Conne has a rollerball rodent, it is time that she bought a new mouse.

Incidentally, cheap mice perform as good as expensive one. Personally, I don't go a bundle on wireless ones and find a plug-in optical mouse is ideal; even with a laptop.

bought new one today - don't even have to plug it. ie No cable etc. Just put the little bit at the back of hard drive and bob's your uncle. Not bad £9.99 Very happy with it.
