Removed Oven Door Can't Get It Back On

We took the oven door off our Electrolux built under Doyle oven and can't refit it. The bottom hinges keep going back into the body of the door when we try to hook them back into the slots

Is it possible to jam the hinges with cardboard, or similar, then remove it after refitting?

I had the same problem at one time and was told to pull the hinges right out of their slots (the hinges are not actually fixed to the oven), attach the door, and replace the entire unit. Some models have hinge locks that lock the hinge open so that you can attach the door...Good luck.
