Where Are My Books???

I have a Kobo book reader - and the software and library are on my laptop ...... I can see the Kobo programme files - but where are the actual books stored? I want to find them so I can email one to someone ................? TIA

have you actually bought any books, if you have they are in your library, you can share an eBook across any device you use the email on that you use to buy your kobo ebooks. as long as you have installed the kobo app on it. I don't think you can send an eBook you have bought to someone else but you can buy an eBook for them as a gift using their email for delivery of the download.
