Fundraiser For Charity

the store where I work are planning our next fund-raising event for charity. One idea, I've just been thinking over is to use blank fridge magnets then photographing the customer and then printing it out to put in the magnet.

It's a Halloween event so we could even caption the print, have staff in fancy dress with them etc.

As I said the idea is still in it's infancy. One problem would be a safe way of cutting the print to size. A stamp out type cutter would be ideal. Any thoughts or ideas, please? It won't make a fortune, but it's publicity more than anything else. Thanks

What about using clear magnetic photo holders and using a standard photo printing size eg 6"x4" so no cutting of the photo - just print to required size.

Sized photos on A4 page cut out & stuck with clear fablon. Or advert keyfobs that have removable plastic lid to insert your picture.

thanks gang, still pondering, I couldn't think of a cheap/safe way to chop out pix [we're at the front of a superstore in ½ term week] to fit a magnet frame or key ring [thanks tambo]

Plus as we've no idea whether it's going to be popular - or not - we need to buy some stock in. And who or what to photograph etc.!
All ideas welcome ;)

Poundland sell craft 12inch paper trimmers. Printing on labels would avoid the trimming.

There's a company in Birmingham called Framecraft (they are online) which supply stuff for stitchers. They sell key rings and other things for stitchers to put bits of stitching in, I think they'd be suitable for putting in your photos, they also supply lots of other things that could easily fit pictures in. As for the cutting up of the photos - could you approach one of those shops that supply passport photos and ask if you could borrow one of their cutters for a short time explaining what you want to use it for, they might help
