Please help, someone has asked for an album from amazon that is only available as an MP3 download, how exactly can I buy that as a gift, how does it get to the recipient?
As my second link shows, music from Amazon will play on just about anything so yes, you can play it on your iPod. 99% of my music has been converted to mp3 (basically, my whole CD library) for use on all devices.
So how does it work then if say I wanted to download it to my ipod - just out of interest. It can't be only through gift certs, there's tons of MPs tracks for sale.

It downloads in mp3 format, then you just have to add the additional info (artist, album/single name etc) and picture/album art yourself, then c&p it into iTunes.
Thanks spudqueen, I often buy itunes gift vouchers but this isn't available on itunes. I certainly wouldn't steal it no, looks like an Amazon MP3 voucher is the only way to go. It was on someone's present list but it's actually impossible to give it to them!
