Mailing food to Australia

Hello everyone.
The boyfriend's sister has just moved to Australia and is bemoaning the lack of Marmite and peppermint tea.  I was thinking of mailing some to her but I know they are very strict on items being imported (she took some homemade xmas decorations with her - orange slices and cinnamon sticks, and they were confiscated and incinerated!)
So question is, what am I able to send to Aus?  Also, what is the likelihood of a jar or Marmite getting there in 1 piece?

According to the official Marmite website -- www.marmite.com -- Marmite is available in Australia, the distributer is

Manassen Foods Australia Pty Ltd
Regal Business Park,
Lot 10,
Henderson Road
Rowville
VIC 3178
Telephone: +61 3 9763 3044

Fax: +61 3 9763 3054

Have a look at:

Bit pricey though

i always thought marmite was known as 'vegemite' in oz
Both Marmite and Vegemite are available in Australia, but the Marmite on sale in the UK has a slightly different flavour from either.
I've sent both marmite and tea to Canada. Both were sealed (obviously) and I just wrapped them both very very well in bubble wrap. I probably shouldn't have but someone once told me that as long as the food is not fresh and is sealed in its original packaging it's ok. Not sure about customs if the package is stopped for some reason though.
