You have to go to the Post Office, the cost for a normal size letter of normal weight is about 75p

Ok thanks itsjust im sure i remember last time i went to the post office they just used stamps!

A 'normal' size letter of 'normal' weight would cost 42p by Royal Mail Airmail Letters.

Here is a postal calculator.

Just ask for an 'E' stamp. Will get a regular letter anywhere in Europe for 53p
When I send a birthday card to my friend in Australia I just put on 2 first class stamps and post it in a normal red post box down the road. It always gets there.
