What Are They Called?

Little round brass pin type thing, has two arms. The idea being you push the 'arms' through whatever the pin's holding and fold them back to hold it all in place.

Googling "little brass pins" aint getting me anywhere!

Yeah Tony, not sure how to go about that one yet, still only half way through doing the shield. I hit upon the brainwave of using those split pin thingys round the edge of said shield, and couldn't remember what they were called.

B00, you could knock a sword up out of a piece of wood ( well thats what we did when I was a kid ), unless you can't for safety reasons.

We used to call them love pins at school you put one in your lapel if it was crossed you had a girl/boy friend, if you ask for love pins in Staples you may get a funny look:)
