Limewire?

Does anyone use Limewire? How do you upload tracks onto the site as opposed to downloading them off? My mate plays in a group and wants to put his music on. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Limewire is a peer to peer file sharing network. Uploading of files is my ensuring the material you want to share is in the relevant folder on your pc.

From what you say though, I'm not sure its the best way for him to distribute his music as it would only appear on a search if it was looked for specificaly.

If he is looking to promote his music, there are websites that do that sort of thing eg www.mp3.com

Does he just need a space to have the files for people to download? I can do that for you.

You can right click on the songs and "save as"

I would highly recommend not to use this type of file sharing. The potential for worms, viruses & spyware increases tenfold. Believe me, it happened to me & i had to re-format my hard drive. Quite simply, never again..!!
