Boiler Question

I have had the heating off all summer and now feel like turning it on.
My boiler is a pretty decent Worcester 24i Junior. There is life in it but it won't stay on when in the ON position. It fires up, the electronic pilot light is, stays on for about 10 mins then stops.
All my rads are at the highest level, the pressure is at 1 on the boiler...is it the electronic temperature thing in my sitting room thats the problem?

Interesting. The BG guy that looked at mine said it should be 1. (Although it could creep up when the boiler is heating.)
I`m not an expert but it sounds like a thermostat problem. If it was caused by low pressure, it wouldn't fire up at all.
Faulty temperature sensor?
Clogged up heat exchanger?
Circuit board fault?

It could be so many things. That's the trouble with boilers ....... too many things to go wrong.

I'm afraid you're going to have to get someone in who speaks fluent "boiler"

;o)
Is the pump running? If not, the boiler may be shutting down on the boiler high temperature thermostat. Do any of the radiators get hot?
what termperature is the "thing in your sitting room" set to?
