Tell all advantages and disadvantages of books over gizmos.

The only advantage is travelling ... A pad or kindle weighs far less than a dozen books. Only time I use my (at the time state of the art) kindle is then. As a reader..... The only true way to read. A story and feel it. It with paper in your hand! Personal preference if your looking to purchase ..... Buy cheap.... They all do the same thing! (Sorry.... This pad is taking a life of its own with all this punctuation.

Pragmatist is spot on.If you're off traveling then a kindle or a pad is a godsend, you can have a library in a thing you can carry in your pocket, but nothing beats sitting down in a nice comfy chair with a glass of good whisk(e)y and the feel of "proper" book.
