I am thinking of getting a touch control ceramic hob (present one is not ),how easy are they to adjust the heat as there are no numbers on the one I want.?
I'm used to mine now, but it used to annoy me at first. If you accidentally drip hot water on the panel it goes a bit haywire.
Also, it takes a few seconds to turn it up or down, whereas it's less than a second to turn a knob on a conventional hob.
I have had a zanussi for many years and am very happy with it. On the model I have, once ring is selected the number lights up and it can be altered to suit max 12 down to minimum 1. I would certainly have another, much easier for cleaning as there are no knobs to clean around.
