Karcher K5.600

I let my friend borrow our Karcher,and now when I try to put the rubber high pressure hose on the connecter,and then put the water on the high pressure rubber hose jumps off of the connercter.

Can anyone help me please.

buy a jubilee clip for it

The Karcher has it's own round plug in,and should be OK when fitted in the socket,but I think my friend tried to pull the pressure hose out of it's socket,when he should have released the air first from the gun where the water comes out under pressure.
A Jubilee Clip would be no good.it would not fit over the pressure hose socket.
