Can you set up and use more than one set at once? Say if you both wanted to watch a film x

Oh more than one set of headphones. I kept reading that as more than one TV set and wondering why you needed to hear two things at once :-)

No idea but suspect it'd depend on the headphones. Whether they could be set to pick up the same transmitted signal. Probably need to investigate the ones you're considering.
Yes, you can.
You can buy a splitter which will convert a single headphone socket into two so, presumably, you could plug one set of headphones into each of the new sockets.
This sort of thing:

We have two sets of the same headphones. I think only one charger is plugged into the tv. You can charge both sets - not at the same time - and use them both to listen to tv.

Thanks so much!!

So me & mr tinks can watch a film together lol xx
Does your tv mute the speakers when you plug the headphone jack in?
Not all do - one of listens through the headphones whilst the rest listen as normal.
If you're watching different films (on different TV sets) then you'll need to use each transmitter/headphones pairing as normal, while ensuring that they're on different channels.

If you're watching the same TV programme (on the same TV) then (as long as they're the same make, and thus using the same channels) you can discard one of the transmitter units (other than for charging purposes) and just plug one transmitter into the TV's headphone socket (with both sets of headphones switched to the same channel).
