Hi Curly1,  yeah I could do this easily except for two problems:- No 1 you have not given enough info on what you want to achieve and No 2 I have no idea how to attach anything like a file here.

I assume that what you have is a photocell or movement controlled light; so do you mean you want to A. switch it off when not required or do you want to B. switch it on even when there is no movement. please don't say both!!

A.    New switch     Automatic switch        light

Live ---------||------------------------||---------------------()------N

B.                           Automatic switch        light

Live -------------------x--------------||------------y--------()------ N

                          x--------------||------------y

                                   New switch

For B. you have to link the x to to x and the y to the y but I cant show it here as the is no way to put a link with text only.

Sorry curly1,  Well the page looked OK when I posted it but came out with extra stuff when actually on site.  If you cant understand it the only thing I can do would be send you something by e-mail but its up to you if you want to post an e-mail address, I won't send rubbish to it but others might.
I assume you are wanting to override the PIR and photocell so that you can leave the light permanently on, regardless of movement. If so, the majority of this type of light has a manual over-ride faciltly incorporated in the circuitry. All you usually have to do is switch the power off to the light and back on again within 2 seconds. To switch the light back to automatic mode just turn the power off to the light, wait about 10 seconds and turn the power back on again.
