motorola v500

my v500 flip phone has just started going to 'loud' mode whenever it is charged. Also the front light stays lit the whole time it is charging which probably delays things. As far as I know i ahve not altered any settings for either of these things to happen and am not sure how to stop it. Does anybody have a solution for either problems please, as i dont have my manual here?

Hi, I dont have a solution for you but I can tell you that this seems to be common with motorola's. I have had 3 now and the first 2 seem to always have problems during charging. The first one wouldnt charge then it would, it eventually got changed under warranty.

The 2nd phone is about a year old and it stays lit up when charging, which is annoying as it's charged at night next to my bed. This one also has problems just charging..

But back to the query about it changing to loud. Both phones did this occasionally, it seemed to come and go. Really weird.

My newest phone Razor V3 seems to be ok. touch wood.

I've just changed my phone from a Motorola V500 to a Samsung D500, just as my contract was up. I'd been having a few problems charging for ages, and although mine didn't change to loud, the light would often stay on all the time.  Eventually, when I got it to charge, the phone was fine, and I wouldn't have thought it means necessarily the whole phone is on the way out, it's just the connection between the phone and charger.  Did kind of put me off Motorola's though!
