I have three items on order with Amazon and it will be sod's law that one or all will arrive when I'm out. So I'm trying to do what I thought was the simplest of things and put my phone number on the designated spot in my account so they can text me. I've done 0**** ******, **** ******,
0**********, ********** and it won't accept any of them. It already has +44 then a space before you can input your number. Anybody managed to do it or is it just me being an idiot? Thanking you.

Under delivery addresses, I had my landline listed for contact. I have just replaced it with my mobile number, with no problem. I did it with the zero on the beginning, and no gaps.

Isn't +44 for a Landline number to be called from Abroad,
Are you entering a Mobile number?
You need to omit the leading zero if they have put +44 in and don't leave any spaces.
eg 0118 123 4567 becomes (+44)1181234567
After +44 you should omit the first zero of your phone number

Oh gawd is it B? Yes I want my mobile on there so I can nip back easily if I'm out with the dog in the park. I don't need them to phone me if I'm in.
I'll go and try anyway. Thank you.
Mind you they won't text you.

The only time I know of it being used was when the courier couldn't find my Mum's place, so he rang for directions.
If you are out they will just try your neighbours, hide it behind a pot outside your front door or lob it over your side gate.
The +44 just means it's a GB number. Even your cellphone is a GB number, so just omit the leading zero and don't leave any spaces.
Are you doing it in the 'delivery address' bit?

That's the bit your courier will see, and that doesn't need the +44 bit.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Everything you have all suggested I have done as you can see. The place I'm trying to put it is in the Tracking bit but as Hopkirk said after the address I've done that no problem (mobile number), thanks H. BA for you.
Baldric I decided not to try my land line as I don't want it on there but thank you anyway.
A fair number of Amazon items can be delivered to a local pick up point. ( in my case...a local post office branch.)Have you considered that option? Saves having to be worrying about when the item will arrive...and often quicker.

I have considered and discarded it Pasta thank you. I live in a parking zone area where you have to pay to get parked IF you can get a parking space. Only if I order from John Lewis who deliver to my local Waitress do I use that method.
Are you putting spaces in the number, if so leave them out.
