Fridge Freezer

Hi,there`s a small drainage hole on the back wall of my fridge which is always icing up causing flooding,i`ve turned the dial down to 1 but keeps happening,is there a cure for this please ?

How often is 'always'?

Just poke it regularly with a drinking straw, pipe cleaner or a bit of wire.

don't flood it but try a small quantity of car antifreeze

Is your fridge too cold perhaps??

these get block with debris over time as first answer say poke it with a thin stick etc then flush it with a little water check it every few months

Temperature is on 1 so i assume that`s not the coldest it goes to 3,i have been cracking the ice and clearing as much debris as possible,just have to carry on same,thanks all.

Perhaps on yours 1 is the coldest. Not normal, but you never know.

Try setting it to the other end of the scale.

Perhaps buy a fridge thermometer.

I had the same problem with mine. The cool cabinet was set to +4° C and the freezer to -25° C. When I spoke to Braun, they told me it only needs to be at -18° C. So the cure was to completely de-frost the freezer, as the rear cooling unit also ices up. Make sure the pipe from the rear drip hole is completely clear. Since then, no problems.
Good luck with yours. As already suggested, a freezer thermometer seems to be called for. Just numbering the dial 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. doesn't help that much.

Few bits left in freezer so when empty i will defrost and get thermometer Thank you all
