Bernina Sewing Machine.

My Bernina Activa 135s is playing up somewthing terrible. It keeps cutting out. I don't know if its the pedal at fault or the machine itself. As a new pedal cost £50 I am loathed to purchase one only to fiind I still have the problem. I have looked for a different foot pedal but as far as I can see the part that goes into the swewing machine are different from all the others Ice looked at (its a 1 pin). I'd appreciate any advice you can give, many thanks.

I can find no information on the components or wiring of the footswitch, but someone with electrical Knowledge and access to the machine could soon work it out.

I would search for the main Bernina website and see if they have a list of service centres. Or perhaps you can find a small appliance repair shop locally. It could be as simple as a loose connection and easy to fix.
