How do I convert a figure given as mw/cm2 to w/m2 ?

Assumning you are talking about mW and W (watts) then times by 100 and divide by 1000. Which is the same as dividing by 10. Hamish

1m^2 = 100cm x 100 cm thereofre 1mw/cm^2 => 10000mw/m^2 => 10W/m^2 so, 1mw/cm^2 = 10W/m^2 No?

i'm with lisaj. you should multiply by 10 not divide.
