Logging In
12 Answers
I have been a member here for 10 years & until about a week ago once I'd logged in I stayed logged in. Now, in spite of ticking the box saying 'remember me on this computer' I don't stay logged in for longer than each individual visit to the site.
Have I inadvertently done something? If so, how can I undo it? Or have there been changes made to systems at HQ?

My daughter is moving house & I've been doing grandmotherly stuff. The grandchildren (5 & 8) frequently hijack my desk top & iPad, but are not capable of clearing my history, except by mistake, & certainly wouldn't / couldn't have done it upwards of 50 times in the last week to 10 days. I normally use Chrome but occasionally use Microsoft Edge as it used to be the only browser which would display the Times Crossword puzzle correctly when I wanted to do it on line. (No longer necessary since The Times has updated its site.)
I thought my daughter had solved the problem, but I was wrong! Never mind: I can live with it until I have more time to investigate more thoroughly. Thank you all for trying.
