Going To Prom With My Crush?
2 Answers
I asked my crush to sadies and he couldn't make it because of family event, since he's homeschooled, I mentioned that if he really wants to attend a high school even we have prom coming up. Personally, I was telling myself not to get too excited because he might forget or he might be busy. Turned out he remembered and texted me to confirm and date. Now it's happening, we got tickets and all that good stuff.
But right now I'm really nervous and kind of scared since I wouldn't want to embarrass myself or any thing, I want to make good impression but I also want to act normal and natural. I understand that awkwardness is normal but I'm still kinda scared. This might be our first real interaction other than small talks and trading memes. I am really excited, beyond excited, but I really really don't want to mess it up.
How do I talk to him? How do I keep the conversation going through four hours of prom? I want to dance with him but how though? Please give me some tips I'm kind of a mess

There is nothing wrong with being nervous...and I think it breaks the ice to admit that you are. Nothing worse than someone pretending to be something you are not and, actually, you often end up appearing to be a bit stupid.
Be yourself and the conversation will work itself out. You could ask about homeschooling, what his plans are for the future, how he will spend the summer, pets, sport....lots of things come to mind as I think about topics and they will to you. I am sure that you will be in a group so other people will chat with you both too. Topics for discussion are not all down to you!
Go with the flow! Enjoy yourself!
