If I tick the box, does this mean I'm notifed every time sombody else replies? It doesn't seem to be happening in my case. Am I doing something wrong or have I missed something?

When I joined AB, I assumed that subscribing to a thread would result in me receiving e-mail notifications when somebody sent a fresh answer to that thread but, like Wendy, it doesn't work for me. So either boobesque has got it wrong or, more likely (?), there's some reason why this feature doesn't work for Wnendy and me. (Could it be to do with our choice of browser? I use Firefox which, because it doesn't support ActiveX, doesn't allow me to format text i.e. I can't use italics or bold. Is there a similar problem with clicking on 'Subscribe to Question' when using Firefox?).

It doesn't work for me either - I use Maxthon. Sometimes it decides to work and then I'll get an e-mail, but I think it's only AB hiccups as it usually don't work for me. How weird indeed.
valsuey - You can only award stars in threads you started yourself. If you click on one of you own questions there will be a "rate this answer" button above the "report this answer" button.
