How Do You Convert 13M 36Cm Into Cm? Is It Just 13.36?

Confused to how to convert the two numbers with different units into one number in cm.

Multiply 13 x 100 + 1,360 cm

100cm to the metre , 13m = 1300 + 36cm = 1336cm

there are 100 CM in every metre, so you would time 13 by 100, then add 36 cm on the end.

Yes the numbers themselves will not change it's just how they are represented as everything works in units of 10 so, these measurements are all the same length because there are 100cm in a metre, and 10 mm to each 1 cm. So:

13.36 m =
1336 cm =
13360 mm

Athiest if you can't work out what 13.36 M is in cms ( move the decimal point two digits to the right ) then you would have big big trouble trying to work out feet and inches. Much easier to divide by 10 than twelve :-D
