Have got a gas hob. One ring has much higher flame on one side than the other. The pieces are seated properly and all clean. What is causing this?

Is the jet that the gas comes out of clean? Something on the jet could cause to come out of the jet at an angle, instead of straight up, so come out of one side of the burner.

Try swapping the parts from one ring to the other, and see what effect that has. Might give you a clue.
