Does Anyone Own A Beko Wtg1041B2W 10Kg Washing Machine With 1400 Rpm ?

Every website I looked at before I bought one said there was a "rinse hold". I can't find it :(

I see a spin and drain option from the Knob, and a rinse option.

Spin and drain at 6 o clock.

Rinse at 7.

spathiphyllum, looked at that video yesterday, doesn't mention it. Doesn't mention much actually.

So if I want to put a wash on overnight, say to start in 6hrs, how do I stop it from finishing the complete cycle, instead leaving the clothes in water (so they don't crease excessively) & I resume it when I get up ? I've had this facility on all my washing machines, & had a job finding a new one that did, to find it doesn't :(

Errr, yes … it says "Rinse hold … If you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water ..." blah blah " … Press Start/pause button after this process".
No mention of where it is :(

I don't understand the "hold" aspect of not only this thread, but in general for washing machines.

I can help you figure out how to, spin and drain. Or how to rinse.

4.6.9 Spin speed selectionWhenever a new programme is selected, the recommended spin speed of the selected programme is displayed on the spin speed indicator.To decrease the spin speed, press the Spin Speed Adjustment button. Spin speed decreases gradually. Then, depending on the model of the product, "Rinse Hold" and "No Spin" options appear on the display. Go to that link. Do CTRL F for "Rinse hold".

Hold means that if the washing isn't going to be removed straight after the cycle's finished, you can "hold" the washing in water so it doesn't get so crumpled. If you left it after it'd had drained or spun, it'd be massively more creased.

I have the manual, it doesn't say what to press to use it.

Oh how I miss the hold function. My last washing machine had one, but not my newer one. Sorry, this doesn't answer your question!

NellieMay, yeah, me too, that's why I went for a cheaper one, the more expensive ones don't have it !

Ahh, I think you must have to select no spin speed … well, that's a new one on me ! Usually there's a separate button (back me up, NellieMay LOL).

Is there not an illustration of all the controls? Perhaps they have not updated the manual, and it doesn't have that function any more. That happened to me once when we had something new. I can't remember what it was. I had to phone the manufacturer. I would advise you to do the same.

Yes, it was a separate button. I think it said 'rinse and hold' it was a Hotpoint and when I replaced it for the newer model I assumed it had that function. I should have checked!

There's nothing on the controls, it's been a process of elimination & reading between the lines in the manual *doh* It's mentioned on all websites (including Beko's) as well as the manual. I was going to ring Beko but posted on their "Ask an Owner" (as I have with Currys too), but good ole Answerbank came thru' once again :)
Ideally I wanted Zanussi (always had them) but they're now all too deep for the space left by an integrated machine :(( Took a lot of hunting down for that function, ridiculous really.
