Stopping Mattress Sliding?

We have 2 mattresses on top of each other on the bed.The top mattress is sliding.Does anybody know how to stop it sliding please? Thanks.

or put one of you on one mattress on the floor.....

Why two mattresses on top of each other. ?? If I did that, it would require a small step-ladder to get into bed.

To stop them sliding, perhaps a rubber sheet between the two. On the other hand, strips of double sided tape, as suggested by DTC, might be ideal, if placed between both mattresses.

Sew them together.
Or put them both in a mattress case.
