Developing Fast': Britain Facing...
News1 min ago
I have a 1yr old JVC a 28inch widescreen TV with 100hz .
I have noticed when there are fast moving images (ie program credits scrolling fast across the screen from right to left) they are blurred or double imaged as if the tv cant refresh quick enough. I do not have this trouble on any other TV. Can anyone suggest what problem could be. BTW the TV doesnt appear to have a setting to switch from 100Mz to 50Mz
Thanks in advance for any advice

Digital suffers from what's known as 'artifacts' which sadly is a 'feature' of many channels being compressed into the same multiplex resulting in lower bitrates.
You can see it on the field of a soccor match.
I could of course be talking about something that you are not being affected by if not using Freeview.
Interesting - I'm not a big fan of cable. Tried it free for a year when it was offered with my BB & Telephone service.
When it came up for renewal I declined stating that I considered the picture quality to be far better on Freeview. The cable guy was surprised. But as both are digital feeds (there is still some analogue cable about but very little) I guess cable can be affected in the same way.
