Pension Credit

My last pay check is the end of this month. Until I get my American pension sorted I plan to apply for the above...I already know I am eligible. Do I need to wait until I've received my last pay. Can I do it before?

Are you applying by phone? Ask at the beginning of the phone call, the person will surely advise if you can carry on or to apply on such-and-such a date? x
