Splitter aerial to two freeview boxes
4 Answers
I have an aerial in the loft which I have split two ways using a splitter to two rooms, both of which have a freeview box in them. However when one freeview box is on it works fine but when the other one is on at the same time only one of them can pick up a signal. Any ideas what I have done wrong or if I need to upgrade the aerial.

Believe it or not the tv in my bedroom has perfect reception even though it is hooked up to a indoor tv aeriel. Try that first before getting a booster, its cheaper. Let me know how you get on.
Another way instead of splitting the at the aerial which will weaken the signal, put the aerial in one freeview box as normal. then using the RF Out of that freeview box run a length of cable from it and connect to the other freeview box. sound complicated but it's not because you don't lose signal and you don't need a booster and it will also give all analouge signals to the other tv aswell.
