ours was this morning ..blue bins and brown
At the moment my council (Milton Keynes) says it is as usual.

Not sure how long that will last though.
Check your local Council website, each will have to adapt depending on number of absent workers for example.
Can’t see why it wouldn’t unless the staff were ill or unavailable
No brown bins (garden waste) will be collected until further notice, it says on Leeds Council's website today.
Yes.

I'm sure council will have a plan.
All ours continue as normal, which is good, as the recycling centre has been closed
Yes ours was this morning, in the current situation, will be no over spilling bins. Municipal public bins in village were being emptied this morning.
Ours was collected as normal this morning but I assume it may change if staffing levels decrease.
3 weeks? and the rest.
Indeed. Three weeks will not be anywhere near the end. I estimate most restrictions will last for the remainder of this year - at least.

My LA has suspended all recycling collections as from today. Only food waste (of which I have none) and non-recyclable rubbish (of which I have very little)is being collected. My LA is renowned for the cessation or reduction in its services at every opportunity.

Maybe, maybe not, but it’ll certainly continue to be spouted round here.
And no doubt the concomitant reduction in charges.
Brighton & Hove council can't even get it collected in the best of times. Utterly useless. Thank you Greens and Labour plus the subcontractors who are selected to do the job.
//Yes.

The PBI again most probably. (Poor Bloody Infantry) :-(
I do hope so. I'm using the time to do a thorough spring-clean and declutter of old newspapers etc.. Blue bin (papers/cans& bottles) is almost full & due to be collected on Friday. E. Riding bin men are lovely (they leave a few dog-biscuits on the empty bin for the terrible terrier) and will collect if they can, I'm sure.
Ours was collected as normal on yesterday.
Our brown bin was collected this morning and refilled immediately
//And no doubt the concomitant reduction in charges.//

Ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

If anything there will be an "emergency precept" to help LA's cope.
I had an email from Manchester City Council to say the recycle plants are closed and the green bins will not be emptied which are for garden and food waste. The food waste can be put in the grey bin along with normal rubbish but they didn't say what to do with garden waste. The blue bin which is for paper will be emptied as usual.
