Oven Repair Discussion

Got a combined Siemens oven, grill and microwave. Very good except we're now on our third replacement of the inner glass of the door - all just holding but craze-shattered all over, from a bang a minute after the door was opened and microwave switched off. Problem could be the merest hint of muck on the glass, enough to draw a spark somehow? Wondering if it isn't the multitool problem - one function too many in one device. Siemens astonished, of course. Also just wondering if a bit of stove glass stuck over the broken window would do as a kind of repair?
