I know it’s said that face masks are ineffective against Coronavirus but since everyone on the front line seems to wear them they must be useful at least. A little protection is surely better than none. I’ve looked on Amazon and haven’t a clue which to buy. Any recommendations would be gratefully received.
Yes, they are definitely recommended if you are caring for someone and have to breathe close to each other's face. They are also a good idea if you have to stand close to people on a train or in a supermarket queue. They are more help to others than to you if you have the virus.
I'm not sure they make any difference if you are just out walking the dog/exercising.
They also seem to make a lot of people touch their faces; I have seen lots of people adjusting them in the street and in shops. If you are going to use one you really need to use it properly.
I'd have thought a burka should also be effective, although Iran's experience of Covid casts some doubt on that/ They are easy to get hold of though.
The best masks must be the NHS ones. we need someone who works for the NHS who can tell us who supplies them
Why do you still want one in light of my comments? In addition, CV can get to you through your eyes, hence the full face plastic visors now being used by medical staff.
Yes, you seem to have an inherent ‘skill’ for doing that, no matter how many facts are presented to you. Time you stopped as it just makes you look daft, or ignorant (or both).
